3. Contractual Relationship and Our Role

3.1 Contract

These T&Cs set out the basis on which we will make a booking for your travel or holiday requirements. When you make a booking, we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the principal(s) or other supplier(s) named on your booking confirmation or receipt.

You may have:

  • A single package holiday contract with one principal, or
  • Separate contracts with different principals or suppliers if your holiday components are booked separately.

As agent, we accept no responsibility for the acts or omissions of these principals or suppliers, nor for the services they provide. Their Terms and Conditions apply to your booking, and we recommend you read these carefully. Please ask us if you require copies.

Where we organise packages as agent for various suppliers, these Terms must be read alongside our Package Holiday Booking Conditions and the suppliers’ Terms.

3.2 Legal Jurisdiction

Our Terms are governed by English law and the jurisdiction of English courts. If you reside in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may choose to have your local laws and courts apply.

3.3 Booking Offer and Acceptance

All travel arrangements provided or sold through us constitute an invitation to offer. Your booking is an offer to purchase from the supplier(s). We are free to accept or reject your offer on behalf of those suppliers.

4. Booking Details

When you make a booking, we will confirm all details with you. Please check carefully that names, dates, times, and other details on your documents are correct. Notify us immediately of any errors or required changes. Changes after confirmation may incur fees. Names must match those on passports or official ID exactly.

Personal information you provide will be shared with suppliers or authorities as required by law (including immigration and customs) and for security or credit checks. Sensitive information (e.g., disabilities, dietary needs) will also be shared as necessary to provide services.

If you are travelling to the United States, information will be sent to US Customs and Border Protection. If you travel outside the European Economic Area (EEA), data protection laws may differ. We will inform you if this affects your booking. If required data cannot be provided to suppliers, we may be unable to confirm your booking.

5. Payment Terms

A deposit or full payment is due at the time of booking. If only a deposit is paid, the balance must be paid by the balance due date provided. Failure to pay the full balance on time may result in cancellation by suppliers and you will be liable for cancellation charges.

Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, Debit Card, Credit Card.

6. Cancellations, Amendments, and Charges

Any cancellation or amendment request must be made in writing and is not effective until received. Suppliers’ cancellation and amendment charges will apply, which may be up to 100% of the booking cost depending on timing and policy.

We charge an administration fee of £25 per booking for processing changes or cancellations, in addition to supplier charges.

7. Insurance

Many suppliers require you to have travel insurance as a booking condition. We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses (including repatriation), lost luggage, and other risks.

We recommended you obtain insurance covering financial failure of suppliers when booking unprotected services (e.g., no-frills flights).

8. Financial Protection

Package holidays sold by us come with full financial protection under our ATOL license or through the package organiser’s arrangements. You will receive an ATOL Certificate for flight-inclusive bookings, listing protected elements and contact details for assistance.

If you book additional travel services separately (not part of a package), these may not be protected under package regulations. If booked during the same visit or contact, they form linked travel arrangements with insolvency protection as required by law. Insolvency protection covers payments to us but does not cover insolvency of the supplier themselves. Further details are available in the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

We provide financial protection for your money when you buy a package holiday with us. If you purchase other travel arrangements such as accommodation-only bookings, this protection does not apply.

9. Delivery of Documents

Documents such as tickets and insurance policies will be sent by email or by First Class post (if specially requested). We are not responsible for loss or delay after posting unless due to our negligence. Reissue of lost documents will incur charges payable by you. Alternative delivery methods may be available for additional fees.

10. Passports, Visas, and Health

We provide general information about passport, visa, and health requirements but it is your responsibility to confirm specific requirements with relevant authorities. Most countries require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond return dates. Airlines require certain photo ID for travel within the British Isles. Health requirements such as vaccinations may apply, and you should seek advice from your doctor.

11. Final Travel Arrangements

Ensure all travel documents, passports, visas, and insurance are in order before travel. You may need to reconfirm flights with airlines; failure to do so could result in denied boarding without refund.

12. Complaints

Complaints should first be addressed immediately to the principal supplier or their local agent while travelling. Failure to report issues promptly may reduce or eliminate compensation rights. If unresolved, complaints may be escalated in writing to the principal supplier after travel. We will assist you in complaints involving us or other ABTA members. Unresolved matters can be referred to ABTA’s Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme: abta.com.

13. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure passports, visas, insurance, and health requirements are met. Behave lawfully and respectfully; inappropriate conduct may result in refusal or termination of services without refund.

14. Website Use and Bookings

Bookings can be made online, but contacting us directly on 01865 341 909 is recommended for the best service. Some bookings are processed through third-party booking engines; their terms also apply. The website uses cookies; details are in our Privacy Policy.

15. Data Protection

Personal data is collected to process your booking and comply with legal requirements. Data may be shared with suppliers and authorities as necessary and protected in line with data protection laws.

16. Liability

Our liability is limited to ensuring your booking is made correctly. We are not liable for suppliers’ performance or events beyond our control (force majeure). Our maximum liability is limited to the value of your booking.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to English courts (or Scottish/Northern Ireland courts if applicable).

18. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes apply to bookings made after the date of update.
